This is classified as a Logic/Key Stage. Unlike standard sorting levels where you can process cups as they appear, Level 46 locks the majority of the playable area behind a "Cross-Lock" mechanism. The central 60% of your supply tray is frozen by Red and Yellow locks, making it inaccessible during the opening phase.
The primary challenge here is resource management under constraint. You have a very limited number of available slots (5) and a conveyor belt that will keep bringing you cups you cannot immediately use. If you panic and tap the wrong color, you will fill your belt with useless cups, causing a deadlock that forces a restart. Patience and strict adherence to the unlocking order are the only ways to succeed.
To clear this level and achieve a high rating, you must focus on the following goals rather than just "filling the art." Understanding *what* needs to be done is half the battle.

This is the turning point of the level. After clearing the ice and the immediate red cups (or waiting them out), you will finally see the keys resting at the bottom of the side stacks.
Observation: - The Red Key is in the bottom-right corner. - The Yellow Key is in the bottom-left corner.
Action Step: Clear the cups directly supporting these keys. Usually, this involves tapping a few more Green or White cups that were hiding under the ice layer.
Once the path is clear, tap the Red Key and then the Yellow Key. There is no specific order required between the two, but collecting them both is the trigger for the next phase. As soon as they are collected, the locks in the center of the tray will vanish.
With the keys collected, the center of the board undergoes a massive transformation. The frozen blocks disappear, and a huge cluster of Orange and Green cups is released.
This is where 90% of players fail. The sudden availability of so many cups leads to "button mashing." You must resist this urge.
The Strategy: Your tray capacity is 0/5. Do not fill it to 5/5 immediately with random colors. You need to maintain a "buffer slot" to allow the cups to shuffle and settle.
The Lion Cub's mane is large, and the canvas will demand a lot of Orange sand now.
Action Step: Begin tapping the Orange Cups in the center. Since you likely have a backlog from the sides, prioritize clearing any existing Orange cups on your conveyor belt first before adding new ones from the center.

Many players try to start the level by tapping the center cups because they are easier to reach. In Level 46, the center is locked. Tapping here does nothing but waste time.
Correction: Force your eyes to the periphery. Always start your scan at the far left and far right edges of the screen. If a cup isn't on the edge in level 46, it's not the right move for the first 30 seconds.
The Ice Blocks (marked '3') look like they should break in one hit, but they often have "duriance" equivalent to 3 standard cups.

Emergency Action: You have to waste a move. Look at the canvas. What color is it painting *next*? Find that color in the tray (even if it's buried deep). You may need to tap a cup that currently isn't on the belt to force a shuffle, or simply wait for the current belt cups to cycle out (though this takes time). Don't fill your 5 slots. Try to keep your slots at 3/5 or 4/5 maximum.
